Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Teethly collects the following information to provide our dental practice management services:

• Clinic Information: Clinic name, address, contact details, operating hours, and PRC license numbers provided during registration.
• Patient Data: Patient names, contact numbers, email addresses, dental charts, treatment plans, clinical notes, and prescriptions, entered and managed exclusively by the clinic.
• Usage Data: Login timestamps, feature usage analytics, and session data to improve our service.
• Account Credentials: Email address and hashed password for authentication.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the Teethly platform
• To authenticate clinic access and enforce role-based security
• To generate clinical documents (prescriptions, treatment plans)
• To display practice analytics on the Revenue Intelligence Dashboard
• To send service notifications and updates

3. Data Storage & Processing

All data is stored securely on Supabase (our database and authentication provider), which uses PostgreSQL databases hosted on AWS infrastructure. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit via TLS 1.2+. Row Level Security (RLS) ensures that each clinic can only access their own data.

4. Patient Data Handling

Teethly is a data processor, clinics are the data controllers of their patient information. We do not access, sell, share, or use patient data for any purpose other than providing the platform to the clinic. Clinical notes are immutable once saved for medico-legal compliance. Clinics are responsible for obtaining patient consent for data collection in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

5. Data Retention

Clinic data is retained for the duration of the subscription. Upon account termination, data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion. Clinics may request immediate data export or deletion by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. For data requests, contact: privacy@teethly.com

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered clinics via email of any material changes. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
